Brother HL-5370DW Driver Download
Brother HL-5370DW Driver Download- Brother had a good range of mono laser printer for high-end individuals and small workgroup market. We’ve seen the HL-5340D and HL-5370DW, reviewed here, has many of the same characteristics, but adds Ethernet connectivity and Wireless. It is neat, squat machine in light and dark gray, with black bands at the front of the piano. There is a 250-sheet paper tray at the bottom of the front panel and its own front panel folds down to reveal a multipurpose tray, which slides and flips out to the support a further 50 sheets of special media. This mechanism feels a bit thin, but it works well enough for testing. Feed print jobs to a deep indentation on the top surface of the machine and on the left is a column of five LED indicators and two buttons, marked Go and Job Cancel. This is all you get in the control panel because there is no LCD screen. In the back are sockets for Ethernet and parallel ports, and USB everywhere. Network is available as wired or wireless connection, via Wi-Fi 802.11g.
With the printer all-in-one, wireless installation is relatively easy, because even a simple machine usually has an LCD display, which can be used for simple and user feedback. However, this laser printer, like many others, has status LEDs only, making set-up is more complicated. To be fair, Brother has tried to cover all the options, though all but automatic rather convoluted. If your router supports Secure Easy Setup, Wi-Fi Protected Setup or AOSS, you can use this system to obtain the necessary arrangements to cross over to printer. In other cases, things are not easy.
You can install using a network lead, although this needs to be connected directly to your router, or you can work from a wireless PC, provided you do not mind changing all the wireless settings to communicate with the printer. You need to record the original, so you can reset them at the end of the installation. Printer catered for in terms of page description languages and operating system support. This includes both PCL 6 and Postscript Level 3 in emulation and no driver for Windows from 2000 onwards and Mac OSX 10.3.9 and higher. There is a driver CUPS and LPD / LPRng for Linux is available as well.
